Custom Draperies & Window Treatments in
Central West End, MO

Timeless detail meets modern comfort

Charlotte’s Custom Draperies & Blinds serves homeowners in Central West End with custom draperies, Roman shades, blinds, shutters, motorized treatments, and finishing details chosen for their own rooms.

Our approach centers on respecting architectural character while accommodating contemporary living. An older interior with detailed trim may suggest tailored drapery, while an apartment or condominium may call for streamlined shades and efficient operating options. Rather than offering a single formula, we consider window measurements, natural light, privacy, and existing furnishings before recommending a treatment.

Window Treatments Selected for the Way You Live in Central West End

Your windows influence how each room feels from morning through evening. Charlotte’s works with existing furniture, wall colors, floor finishes, and everyday needs rather than starting with a predetermined look. A considered choice of fabric and operating style can add softness, improve privacy, or make sunlight easier to manage.

For a Central West End residence, we can discuss one window or a coordinated series of rooms. A personal design conversation is the starting point for a treatment that looks purposeful and fits the space.

Experienced Design.
Personal Attention.
Custom Craftsmanship.

Owner and designer Paulette De Clue brings more than 25 years of experience, along with fashion-design education from the University of Missouri and Stephens College. Charlotte’s maintains an in-house workroom for custom fabrication, so attention to fabric, construction, and finishing remains part of the design story. For your Central West End project, our goal is a result that feels natural to the room and works with the way you live.

Custom Draperies & Curtains

A well-designed pair of panels can soften hard architectural lines and give a room a finished feel. We help coordinate color, texture, length, and decorative hardware.

Custom Blinds & Interior Shutters

Blinds and interior shutters can provide a crisp, architectural appearance with adjustable privacy and daylight. Material, finish, and fit should suit the room.

Motorized Window Treatments

Ask about available motorized options when frequent adjustment is important. Compatibility and controls depend on the products selected.

Valances, Cornices & Decorative Hardware

A restrained cornice or tailored valance may add structure; thoughtfully selected hardware can provide just the right accent without visual clutter.

Layered Window Treatments

Sheers, blinds, shades, and fabric panels can be paired thoughtfully when a single treatment cannot satisfy every design and privacy goal.

Roman, Roller, Solar & Woven Shades

Privacy, daylight, and fabric texture should work together. We compare Roman, roller, solar, and woven shades with the surrounding décor in mind.

A Thoughtful Approach to Window Design in Central West End

The Central West End includes varied residential settings, so we would study the specific window and room before recommending a design. The aim may be to retain visual character, preserve light, or introduce privacy with a subtle treatment that complements the architecture.

Central West End homeowners do not need to settle for the same solution in every room. A personal consultation helps distinguish which windows should be a focal point and which are best served by quieter, functional treatments.
