Custom Draperies & Window Treatments in Chesterfield, MO

Beautiful Control for Impressive Windows

Charlotte’s Custom Draperies & Blinds serves homeowners in Chesterfield with custom draperies, Roman shades, blinds, shutters, motorized treatments, and finishing details chosen for their own rooms. Our approach centers on balancing generous windows, open sightlines, and comfort.

Large expanses of glass can be visually striking, but they may also call for glare control, privacy, or motorized operation. Rather than offering a single formula, we consider window measurements, natural light, privacy, and existing furnishings before recommending a treatment.

Window Treatments Selected for the Way You Live in Chesterfield

Your windows influence how each room feels from morning through evening. Charlotte’s works with existing furniture, wall colors, floor finishes, and everyday needs rather than starting with a predetermined look. A considered choice of fabric and operating style can add softness, improve privacy, or make sunlight easier to manage.

For a Chesterfield residence, we can discuss one window or a coordinated series of rooms. A personal design conversation is the starting point for a treatment that looks purposeful and fits the space.

Fabric Knowledge.
Thoughtful Guidance.
In-House Workmanship.

Owner and designer Paulette De Clue brings more than 25 years of experience, along with fashion-design education from the University of Missouri and Stephens College. Charlotte’s maintains an in-house workroom for custom fabrication, so attention to fabric, construction, and finishing remains part of the design story. For your Chesterfield project, our goal is a result that feels natural to the room and works with the way you live.

Motorized Window Treatments

For compatible shades and window treatments, motorization may make light and privacy control more convenient, especially when windows are high or difficult to access.

Valances, Cornices & Decorative Hardware

Well-chosen hardware and finishing treatments turn individual products into a coordinated design. Cornices, valances, and decorative rods are considered where appropriate.

Layered Window Treatments

Layering can create a composed look without requiring everything to match exactly. A shade may manage light while drapery contributes fabric texture.

Custom Draperies & Curtains

Whether you prefer a quiet neutral or a stronger fabric statement, custom drapery can be planned for the actual size and character of the window.

Roman, Roller, Solar & Woven Shades

Privacy, daylight, and fabric texture should work together. We compare Roman, roller, solar, and woven shades with the surrounding décor in mind.

Custom Blinds & Interior Shutters

Blinds and interior shutters can provide a crisp, architectural appearance with adjustable privacy and daylight. Material, finish, and fit should suit the room.

A Room-by-Room Design Plan for Chesterfield

For a Chesterfield home with wide or tall windows, we can evaluate how a treatment looks when open and closed, whether operating access is convenient, and how the fabric or shade color relates to adjoining living areas. The right solution should respect the window itself rather than visually overpower it.

Chesterfield homeowners do not need to settle for the same solution in every room. A personal consultation helps distinguish which windows should be a focal point and which are best served by quieter, functional treatments.
