Custom Draperies & Window Treatments in Kirkwood, MO

Timeless character, thoughtfully renewed

Charlotte’s Custom Draperies & Blinds serves homeowners in Kirkwood with custom draperies, Roman shades, blinds, shutters, motorized treatments, and finishing details chosen for their own rooms. Our approach centers on enhancing existing architectural character with carefully selected textiles.

A room with decorative trim may lend itself to tailored fabric panels, while a lighter space may benefit from a Roman shade that keeps the window visually simple. Rather than offering a single formula, we consider window measurements, natural light, privacy, and existing furnishings before recommending a treatment.

Window Treatments Selected for the Way You Live in Kirkwood

Your windows influence how each room feels from morning through evening. Charlotte’s works with existing furniture, wall colors, floor finishes, and everyday needs rather than starting with a predetermined look. A considered choice of fabric and operating style can add softness, improve privacy, or make sunlight easier to manage.

For a Kirkwood residence, we can discuss one window or a coordinated series of rooms. A personal design conversation is the starting point for a treatment that looks purposeful and fits the space.

For your Kirkwood project, our goal is a result that feels natural to the room and works with the way you live.

Roman, Roller, Solar & Woven Shades

From fabric Roman shades to streamlined solar and roller options, shade styles vary in appearance, opacity, and everyday operation. We help weigh those trade-offs.

Custom Blinds & Interior Shutters

Shutters can contribute a more built-in feeling, while blinds offer versatile light adjustment. The right treatment depends on your windows and desired look.

Motorized Window Treatments

Convenient operation matters as much as appearance in some rooms. We can explore motorized options for compatible window coverings.

Valances, Cornices & Decorative Hardware

Small design decisions often make the room feel complete. Custom valances, cornices, and hardware can tie fabric, wall color, and furniture finishes together.

Layered Window Treatments

Layered draperies and shades can separate practical privacy or glare control from decorative softness. We can plan both to operate and look well together.

Custom Draperies & Curtains

Custom panels can frame an important window without taking over the interior. Fabric weight, mounting height, length, and header style help determine the look.

A Thoughtful Approach to Window Design in Kirkwood

A design conversation for Kirkwood. For a Kirkwood home, we can evaluate what gives the room its character before deciding on a window treatment. Fabric pattern, lining, hardware, and how much of the trim remains visible all influence the final effect.

Kirkwood homeowners do not need to settle for the same solution in every room. A personal consultation helps distinguish which windows should be a focal point and which are best served by quieter, functional treatments.
