Custom Draperies & Window Treatments in Sunset Hills, MO

A softer room, a brighter day

Charlotte’s Custom Draperies & Blinds serves homeowners in Sunset Hills with custom draperies, Roman shades, blinds, shutters, motorized treatments, and finishing details chosen for their own rooms. Our approach centers on controlling light while keeping living spaces open and welcoming.

A sunny breakfast room may need flexible shading at certain hours, while nearby gathering spaces could benefit from fabric panels that introduce texture and comfort. Rather than offering a single formula, we consider window measurements, natural light, privacy, and existing furnishings before recommending a treatment.

Window Treatments Selected for the Way You Live in Sunset Hills

Your windows influence how each room feels from morning through evening. Charlotte’s works with existing furniture, wall colors, floor finishes, and everyday needs rather than starting with a predetermined look. A considered choice of fabric and operating style can add softness, improve privacy, or make sunlight easier to manage.

For a Sunset Hills residence, we can discuss one window or a coordinated series of rooms. A personal design conversation is the starting point for a treatment that looks purposeful and fits the space.

Designed With Care. Made With Purpose.

Owner and designer Paulette De Clue brings more than 25 years of experience, along with fashion-design education from the University of Missouri and Stephens College. Charlotte’s maintains an in-house workroom for custom fabrication, so attention to fabric, construction, and finishing remains part of the design story. For your Sunset Hills project, our goal is a result that feels natural to the room and works with the way you live.

Roman, Roller, Solar & Woven Shades

A carefully selected shade can become a quiet background or a decorative focal point. Materials, lining, openness, and window proportions guide the decision.

Valances, Cornices & Decorative Hardware

Small design decisions often make the room feel complete. Custom valances, cornices, and hardware can tie fabric, wall color, and furniture finishes together.

Layered Window Treatments

Layered draperies and shades can separate practical privacy or glare control from decorative softness. We can plan both to operate and look well together.

Custom Draperies & Curtains

Custom panels can frame an important window without taking over the interior. Fabric weight, mounting height, length, and header style help determine the look.

Custom Blinds & Interior Shutters

Shutters can contribute a more built-in feeling, while blinds offer versatile light adjustment. The right treatment depends on your windows and desired look.

Motorized Window Treatments

Convenient operation matters as much as appearance in some rooms. We can explore motorized options for compatible window coverings.

Finding the Right Balance in Sunset Hills Interiors

For a Sunset Hills home, we can design around how daylight moves across rooms and how treatments look at different times of day. The aim is to retain what you enjoy about the windows while making the rooms easier to use.

Sunset Hills homeowners do not need to settle for the same solution in every room. A personal consultation helps distinguish which windows should be a focal point and which are best served by quieter, functional treatments.
