Custom Draperies & Window Treatments in Webster Groves, MO

Respect the details that make a home special

Charlotte’s Custom Draperies & Blinds serves homeowners in Webster Groves with custom draperies, Roman shades, blinds, shutters, motorized treatments, and finishing details chosen for their own rooms. Our approach centers on working thoughtfully with room proportions, architectural finishes, and texture.

If a room features traditional casing, built-ins, or distinctive paint colors, the right treatment should contribute to that character rather than compete with it. Rather than offering a single formula, we consider window measurements, natural light, privacy, and existing furnishings before recommending a treatment.

Window Treatments Selected for the Way You Live in Webster Groves

Your windows influence how each room feels from morning through evening. Charlotte’s works with existing furniture, wall colors, floor finishes, and everyday needs rather than starting with a predetermined look. A considered choice of fabric and operating style can add softness, improve privacy, or make sunlight easier to manage.

For a Webster Groves residence, we can discuss one window or a coordinated series of rooms. A personal design conversation is the starting point for a treatment that looks purposeful and fits the space.

Fabric Knowledge.
Thoughtful Guidance.
In-House Workmanship.

Owner and designer Paulette De Clue brings more than 25 years of experience, along with fashion-design education from the University of Missouri and Stephens College. Charlotte’s maintains an in-house workroom for custom fabrication, so attention to fabric, construction, and finishing remains part of the design story. For your Webster Groves project, our goal is a result that feels natural to the room and works with the way you live.

Roman, Roller, Solar & Woven Shades

Roman shades bring tailored fabric softness; roller, solar, and woven styles offer other ways to manage light and texture. The best choice depends on room use and privacy goals.

Custom Blinds & Interior Shutters

For windows that benefit from simple lines and practical control, custom blinds or shutters may be worth considering. We review materials and finish options together.

Motorized Window Treatments

Motorized treatments can reduce the need to reach across furnishings or operate tall windows manually. We can discuss suitable products and controls during design planning.

Valances, Cornices & Decorative Hardware

Finials, rods, rings, trims, and top treatments are details with real visual impact. We select them to support the overall room rather than distract from it.

Layered Window Treatments

A layered window can adapt through the day: one element handles visibility and light, while another adds color, softness, or an architectural frame.

Custom Draperies & Curtains

Made-to-measure drapery can introduce texture, shape, and a carefully finished edge to the room. We consider fabric hand, lining, pleat style, fullness, and hardware together.

A Room-by-Room Design Plan for Webster Groves

A design conversation for Webster Groves. For Webster Groves homeowners, we can begin with the existing window and surrounding architectural details. A Roman shade, drapery panel, or carefully scaled valance can be evaluated for how it frames the opening and complements the entire room.

Webster Groves homeowners do not need to settle for the same solution in every room. A personal consultation helps distinguish which windows should be a focal point and which are best served by quieter, functional treatments.
